DELIVERY POLICY
DELIVERY DESTINATIONS
We offer a next working day delivery service to most parts of the U.K. excluding weekends and any public holidays and the delivery charge is normally £5.95 (depending on where you live)
Deliveries to some postcodes such as Northern / Southern Ireland and outlaying areas may take up to two working days to reach. We may restrict other postcodes at our discretion.
Please use our post code checker in the home page to check whether we deliver to you or not.
DELIVERY SERVICE
If you place your order by noon (Monday to Thursday) we will dispatch your order the next working day. However, if you order after 12pm, your order will be dispatched the following next working day.
AGREEMENT
Simply click the ADD TO BASKET button to add the product of your choice to your list. Please note that by clicking on ADD TO CART you agree that you have read the details of the product and agree to the terms / delivery terms and conditions before buying at the checkouts.
At the point of checkouts, you may enter an estimated delivery time you would like to receive your goods. However, the date of your delivery will depend mostly on the amount of orders we have and the completion of those orders that day.
CANCELLATION
You have the right to cancel any orders on the same day you placed it with us by calling us on +44 20 8672 4523 NO LATER THAN 1.30PM for U.K. deliveries and 1pm fpr International deliveries. After this time, your order will automatically be logged into our processing system and you will not be able to cancel your order.
Once your order has been placed, you will be required to be present to receive your goods between 8am to 4pm.
COLLECTION OF GOODS
In the event that you are not able to be present at the time to receive the goods, please make a note when placing the order online or over the phone for an alternative date to receive your order OR you may request to leave your goods with a neighbour or a known business premises for you to collect personally after.
PLEASE NOTE: You are required to be present at the delivery address stated when you placed your order between the times of 8am to 4pm until your goods arrive, unless you have authorised us to leave your delivery with your neighbour or a local business.
Failure to do so will result in an automatic re-delivery at a later date with the discretion of the courier company to your delivery address and you will be liable to pay a further £7.50 for this service.
DELIVERY RESPONSIBIILITY
We try our utmost best to dispatch your order on time, but sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances we may not be able to do so. In the unlikely event of this happening, we will then dispatch your order for the next following working day.
PLEASE NOTE: IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE PRESENT TO RECEIVE PHONE CALLS (EITHER FROM US OR THE LOCAL DEPO WHERE YOUR GOODS WILL BE KEPT) ON THEIR GIVEN CONTACT NUMBER IN ANY EVENT WHICH MIGHT RESULT IN A DELAY IN DELIVERING YOUR PARCEL. THEREFORE IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOUR CONTACT NUMBER BE AVAILABLE TO YOU AT ALL TIMES.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF YOUR ORDER, IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE YOUR GOODS THE NEXT WORKING DAY BY 6PM AFTER PLACING YOUR ORDER, YOU MUST CALL US IMMEDIATLEY ON +44 (0) 20 86724523 SO THAT WE CAN CONFIRM IT'S STATUS.
If for any reason any part of your order cannot be delivered to you within the timescales stated above, we will try to contact you and confirm a new date as soon as we can.
If you are missing any item in your delivery, we will not be able to deliver these goods to you, however, we will credit your "my pooja" acocunt with the value of missing item(s).
POOJA SWEETS & SAVOURIES LTD WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DELAYS, LOSS OR MISLEAD CONSIGNMENTS BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMER NOT RECEIVING A PHONE CALL FROM US OR THE DELIVERING DEPO.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
For international orders, we can deliver within 5 working days excluding public holidays. We may restrict the type of goods purchased as some products may not reach you in good condition by the time they reach you. Please check whether we can post to you by entering your postcode or country in the post code search panel in the home page.
All national deliveries are delivered the next working day and all international orders are delivered 2-5 working days after dispatch. It is recommended that international deliveries are ordered nearer the end of the week (or weekend) in order to prepare and dispatch your order the following week to reach you within the week days as many country's postal services do not operate on weekends, hence it is preferable to dispatch your goods in time to reach you.
NON-EU COUNTRIES / CUSTOMS:
Pooja Sweets will dispatch your items with the appropriate paperwork for cusatoms declaration in effort to make your goods reach you as soon as possible. However, it will not take responsibility if Customs decide to keep hold of your goods for longer periods, as this will be out of Pooja Sweet's controll and if your goods do not reach you in time / are perished due to this, we will not refund on these grounds.
ORDERS FOR FUTURE DATE
For customers who would like to place an order more than a day in advance are requested to email us the date they wish to receive their goods at least two working days before hand.
